About BCI
BCI has grown ten-fold since Marty Zalla started with the company in 1960. The values he instilled in us—integrity, pride in workmanship, dependability, and flexibility—have served the company well. BCI started as a general contracting firm, moving to specialize in water/wastewater treatment in the early-1970s. Today we employ approximately 120 workers annually from our office in Wilder, Kentucky.
Our Team
People tend to stay with BCI. The average length of service for our management team is over 24 years; project supervisors have been with us an average of 13 years, and our field/office staff have an average of 12 years with the company.
Our Clients
We are licensed in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and West Virginia, and serve clients in each state. Clients range from small municipalities like Shelbyville, Kentucky to major corporations such as General Mills. We complete approximately 15 projects each year valued from $200,000 to $16 million. The next time a need for improved water or wastewater treatment arises, call BCI first--for a worry-free solution.
Sincerely,
Marty, John and Rick Zalla
