GREATER CINCINNATI, OHIO
Client: Greater Cincinnati Water Works
Project: Ohio River Crossing Point of Delivery Facility
Value: $10 million |
|
Process: Built a 30 MGD pump station with 2.5 MG reservoir, six vertical turbine pumps, twin 36” high pressure discharge lines, retaining wall to retain unstable hillside, and masonry structure for chemical, pumping and electrical facilities.
A word from the client: “BCI's project managers are very knowledgeable, and do a great job of combining the theoretical and the practical. On the river crossing project, there were a few instances where they took it upon themselves to make real-world adjustments to the design to ensure success. I felt like we were ‘in it together’—they wanted the project to succeed as much as we did.”
