Process: Renovated existing buildings, expanded pre-treatment building; added solids handling, maintenance and administrative buildings; constructed new vertical loop reactor, two new clarifiers, and two new digesters; and installed new chlorine scrubber.

A word from the designer: “This project was challenging in that they were constructing a grit pit near the river. In order to keep groundwater out of the pit during construction, BCI installed monitoring wells with submersible pumps. They are conscientious about their work, and you get good value for your money.”
